The LSI Process |

- Upon an order from the court, the LSI will be conducted by employees of Community Sentencing or a contracted
certified provider of Community Sentencing
- The cost of the LSI Assessment to the offender is $75.00 or the court may order Community Sentencing to pay
the LSI fee if the offender is determined indigent by the courts
- The LSI consists of an interview with the offender and a scoring instrument
- The assessor recommends a treatment plan as part of the LSI
- The topics of the LSI interview are:
- Criminal History
- Education/Employment
- Financial
- Family/Marital
- Accommodation
- Leisure/Recreation
- Companions
- Alcohol/Drug Problem
- Emotional/Personal
- Attitudes/Orientation
- When an offender is sentenced to Community Sentencing the following legal documents are needed for each case at
the initial intake visit:
- Offender's probation plan, signed by all parties
- Rules and conditions, signed by all parties
- Supplemental court order, if applicable, Community Service-Restitution-Court Costs
