Mary Baum joined Commissioner Vaughn’s administration as Office Manager in March 2007. For the past eight years, she served Oklahoma County in the Sheriff’s Office, working as the Intake/Discharge Clerical Supervisor, records/warrants and Shift Supervisor of Inmate Trust, and various other positions. Before starting her career at Oklahoma County, she worked as a Retail Sales Manager for 16 years.

Mary is a 1972 graduate from Crooked Oak High School in Oklahoma City. After high school, she became a stay-at-home mom, traveling to Germany and back with her husband of 35 years Roy, due to his military service.  

Mary and Roy have two daughters, Jennifer and Lena, and two granddaughters, Chelsea and Rylee.
