Randy Grau serves as Second Deputy County Commissioner. Before joining Commissioner Vaughn’s administration, Randy was a business attorney with one of Oklahoma’s largest law firms. In 2006, the Oklahoma Bar Association presented Randy the statewide Earl Sneed Award for outstanding contribution to continuing legal education for his work in the area of legal ethics, a subject on which he often speaks and plans seminars. Randy is serving his second term as a member of the OBA Young Lawyers Division Board of Directors. Since 2003 Randy has volunteered monthly for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children where he represents abused and neglected juveniles, and in 2007, the OBA selected Randy to represent Oklahoma in a democracy-building delegation to the Czech Republic.

Randy graduated with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2001, where he won numerous academic and advocacy awards. In 1998, he graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he received a degree in Telecommunications/Broadcast News and helped establish a service fraternity. He is a 1994 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, and currently resides in Edmond with his wife Dr. Renee Grau, a dermatologist practicing in Oklahoma City.
