IT Application Develpoment:The Application Development Team is responsible for providing Oklahoma County government offices and departments with custom developed software. In addition, the team develops and maintains the majority of Oklahoma County government’s web presence.The Database Administrators are responsible for maintaining the majority of databases utilized within Oklahoma County. The EJS Administrator provides internal support for Oklahoma County’s criminal justice software solution. IT Operations/Infrastructure Team:The Operations/Infrastructure team is responsible for providing Oklahoma County government offices and departments with data connectivity via network solutions maintaining the integrity and stability of electronic information. The network operations center is the focal point for network troubleshooting, software distribution and updating, router and domain name management, performance monitoring, and coordination with affiliated sites and networks.Additionally, this team usually serves as a clearinghouse for connectivity problems and efforts to resolve those problems. IT Telecommunications/Information Team:The Telecommunications department is responsible for the Nortel and Cisco phone systems for the Oklahoma County government offices. Both systems include dial tone, voice mail and auto attendant. This department is also responsible for the the WAN (Wide Area Network) connections and all business lines. Currently we manage over two thousand (2,000) phones in our system.The Telecommunications department is also responsible for the purchasing and receiving of inventory for the Information Technology Department and for the employee time keeping, personnel files, and managing the departmental budget.
