About Us

The Department of Training and General Assistance operates under the Board of Oklahoma County Commissioners to provide a variety of employment and training services and social and senior services.

The department was established to carry out the statutory duties of the Oklahoma County Commissioners in caring for the indigent. In addition to these social services, the department operates employment and training programs, serving both job seekers and employers.
