Job Orders
Area employers place their requests (job orders) for qualified personnel with Employment Services. The employer's
request will consist of a description of the work to be preformed, skill levels needed, salary and benefit information,
educational requirements and referral procedures.
Job Referral
Your qualifications are screened and matched to the employer's specifications. The decision to refer you to any job is
based solely on your ability to perform the job, as determined from the information gathered in the application process.
Once the decision is made, information about the employer is provided to you. Other placement activities, such as job
development and job referral workshops, are coordinated with the Job Training section of the Workforce Oklahoma Career
Connection Center and cooperatively provided.
Testing
At times, an employer may specify certain clerical skills as a requirement for hiring. To accommodate this request,
typing, 10-key and spelling tests may be taken at the Center. No appointment is needed. |
