Safety & Crime Prevention

These programs provide safety awareness to seniors both at home and on the road.

  • Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office
    Deputy officers are available to make safety and well-being visits to homebound seniors.

  • Oklahoma City Fire Department
    Firefighters will provide and install free smoke detectors for elderly residents in Oklahoma City.

  • AARP Safe Driver Program
    AARP sponsors an eight-hour safe driver program for $10.00. You do not have to be an AARP member. Call for dates and locations.

  • Telephone Reassurance
    Volunteers make pre-arranged phone calls at pre-determined times to check on the well-being of homebound seniors. Emergency contacts are maintained for each client. Call for enrollment information.
