Volunteer Opportunities
Many opportunities for sharing time and talent exist for volunteers throughout Oklahoma County. Volunteering provides retirees
with an excellent opportunity to apply their life experience to unmet community needs. Some organizations with challenging
volunteer opportunities include:
- Sunbeam Family Services, Senior Companion Program
Individuals 60+ years, with an income of less than $970/month for one or $1302 for a two-person household, can qualify to be
senior companions and receive a stipend of $2.65 an hour for up to 20 hours per week.
Training course and ongoing support provided.
