canine, Ajo, is being retired due to medical reasons, and with the requested
approval will be given to his handler, who will assume all responsibilities for
his care, in accordance with provisions set forth in Title 19 Section 421.

This canine, Ajo, is being retired due to medical reasons. Due to the nature of his training, liability
issues would make it imprudent to sell or otherwise dispose of him to the
general public or to anyone other than his handler. Hence, he will be given to his handler, who
will assume all responsibilities for his care.
