Arcadia Annexation

The Edmond and Luther School
Districts have now, by a vote of the effected property owners, annexed the area formerly
known as the Arcadia District. An election took place on Tuesday, May 8th, 2001 with
a vote of 409 Yes votes vs. 96 No votes. The annexation will now be filed with the
State of Oklahoma and then submitted to Oklahoma County where our office will re-code the
effected properties into their correct districts.
The 2001 Certification will reflect the annexation with tax codes representing the new Edmond School area formerly known as OKC Schools. Luther Schools will also have separate tax codes for the new area formerly known as OKC Schools. Click on the map to enlarge for viewing and printing.
The new tax codes will also represent which city the properties reside in as the election did not effect the city boundaries.
