Apartment Complex.
The new downtown Federal Campus
site has been selected and will reside at the corner of NW 6th
and Harvey Ave. The campus will house some of the agencies that
previously occupied the Murrah Building.
Construction of the new downtown
Oklahoma City Library is almost complete. It's location rests
on the former Y.W.C.A. location just South of the Oklahoma
County Courthouse on the SE corner of Park Place and Hudson Ave.
See the new downtown Oklahoma City Art Museum that was developed
using the old Centre Theatre location.
The new 20,000 seat multi-purpose arena is located South of the
Myriad. It is also known as The Ford Center.

The Oklahoma City Santa Fe train depot is currently under
renovation. Other train stations may be found here too.
Amtrak service has been restored as well.
The Oklahoma City Stockyards is known worldwide as the largest
stocker and feeder cattle market. This area was also known for
its meat packing facilities which during the 1960's rode off
into the sunset. Since its founding, the stockyards has
continually offered products and services which are synonymous
with the heritage of the West.
The Oklahoma City Myriad Convention Center has received a
facelift from the "MAPS" project as well.
Construction of the three dams is now complete which as raised
the level of water into river-lakes. The Bricktown canal will
eventually link the riverfront to the downtown area.
The City Council has chosen a new
site for the Oklahoma City Metro Transit Station. After several
attempts to acquire property the city has chosen the site
located on the SW corner of NW 5th and Hudson. The new station
will reside on 1.7 acres and is currently under construction.
Automobile Alley. This area was once covered by automobile
dealerships from the 1900's to the 1960's. It is now being
renovated for business activity.
