Oklahoma County Government is seeking a qualified individual to join the Health & Safety Division as a Safety Coordinator. The candidate for this position must have a demonstrated knowledge and level of expertise of safety management programs and training.
Must be familiar with all statutes, state and federal, that pertain to compliance (OSHA, PEOSH, EPA, ODOL, and Worker's Compensation). Must be knowledgeable of various safety training programs (Fire Safety, Emergency Evacuation, Ergonomics, Hazard Communication, PPE, and DOT Regulations).
One to Two years of experience related to Health & Safety, and the creation, preparation and delivering of health & safety plans/topics training.
A Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or related area is highly desired. A combination of education and experience may be considered for education requirement.
