Beverage Permits
New applications - Requires a 15 day posting period before a permit can be issued.
Renewal applications - can be processed the same day if received within 10 days prior to expiration.
Applications to renew expired permit - may be issued without additional fee received within 10 days after
expiration. From the 11th day to the 30th day after the permit expires a $100.00
additional fee is required to issue the permit. After 31 days from expiration the application is treated like
a new application and requires a 15 day posting period of the notice.

Going out of Business Sale
Requires filing of an inventory of merchandise to be sold at the time of filing the application. There is a
10 day waiting period before license can be issued.

Private Process Servers
Requires a $5000.00 bond good for 1 year for new county license, new state license, and renewal county license.
New county license - Must be renewed every year and is for one county only.
New state license - A first time application must be renewed after one year and thereafter is renewable every 3 years.
Requires two 2x2 photographs.

Transient Merchant License
The Transient Merchant License issues only after all specified fees have been paid, and the bonds required by law have been
posted.
Bonds posted by the merchant are maintained for one year after the merchant or the merchant's agent terminates
business. The Court Clerk may release the bonds only after receiving proof that all claims have been satisfied
and all taxes have been paid.
The Transient Merchant License is valid only for 90 days and only within the county in which it is issued. The
license is not transferable and is valid only for the business stated in the application.

Marriage
Age 18 and older:
Proof of age is required. Drivers license, birth certificate, passport, etc.
Age 16-17:
Parental consent of either parent or legal guardian, birth certificate.
Male & Female:
Under 16, Marriage is prohibited in this state except by court order.
Divorce:
Persons divorced in Oklahoma may not marry anyone other than their previous spouse for a period of six months after the
divorce decree is filed.
Blood Test:
Oklahoma law does not require a premarital blood test.
Residency:
No residency requirements.
Fees:
$50.00 license fee or $5.00 if premarital counseling completed.
The reduced fee shall apply upon presentation to the court clerk of an original
certificate of successful completion of a premarital counseling program.
The certificate must be an original on church letterhead and shall state
that the named persons have successfully completed the premarital counseling requirements.
NO COPIES, FAXES OR EMAILED CERTIFICATES QUALIFY.
The premarital counseling program must be conducted by a health professional or an official
representative of a religious institution whose ministers' credentials are filed of record with a court clerk's office.
Health professional means a person approved by the state to practice psychiatry or psychology; a licensed social worker with
experience in marriage counseling; a licenses marital and family therapist; or a licenses professional counselor.
$10.00 fee if ceremony is performed by a judge.
Judge ceremonies at the courthouse are held at 1:30 daily, with few exceptions.
Please arrive by 12 noon if you desire to have a judge ceremony, to allow time for application and processing.
Local checks are accepted.
Waiting Period:
No waiting period required except for those under the age of 18. If under age 18, there is a 72 hour waiting
period.
Waived period exception:
Written waiver signed by judge, parent or guardian.
