2.  How can I pay my traffic ticket?

Answer:  In person by cash, personal check, money order or certified check.  Tickets may be paid by mail, but do not send cash in the mail.  Sorry, no credit cards are accepted.

3.  May I make payments on my traffic ticket?

Answer:  No, the full amount is due by the court date stated on the ticket.

4.  May I just pay my insurance ticket?

Answer:  Yes, however, payment results in automatic suspension of your driver's license by the Department of Public Safety.  However, if you present proof of insurance to the District Attorney's office on or before your court date, the DA may reduce your fine.  You may also bring your ticket and proof of insurance to the Court Clerk's office within two business days (48) hours after receiving the ticket.  Your ticket may be dismissed.
