Judge Vicki Robertson was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and graduated from High School in Houston, Texas. She is a 1970 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Oklahoma, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree with a distinction in a major of mathematics and a minor in economics with a teaching certificate. For six years, she taught geometry and trigonometry and coached the girls tennis team at Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1978, she received her Juris Doctor degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. From October 20, 1980, to March 31, 1996, she was with the law firm of Holloway, Dobson, Hudson, Bachman, Alden, Jennings, Robertson, & Holloway and was a partner and managed the Workers’ Compensation Department. On April 1, 1996, she was sworn in as a Special Judge for Oklahoma County. On April 16, 1999, she was sworn in as a District Judge, pursuant to appointment by the Governor. For three years, she served as Presiding Domestic Judge. Presently, she is assigned to a Civil Docket. For 2007, she is Presiding Administrative Judge. She is an alumni of the National Judicial College-General Jurisdiction Course and National Center for State Courts-Court Technology Conference.  She is the 2007 President of the Oklahoma Judicial Conference; and a member of the Oklahoma Trial Judges' Association.  Judge Robertson is also a member of the Oklahoma County (President, 2005), and Oklahoma (Awards Committee) Bar Associations.  She is a member of the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court (Master) and on the selection committee of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence.  Additionally, Judge Robertson is the recipient of the 2007 State Trial Judge Award from the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  She has been a speaker at both the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Seminars.  She has been a  guest lecturer at Oklahoma City University School of Law, and is rated "AV" by Martindale Hubbell.
