     Judge Patricia Parrish graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.  In 1982, she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.  Prior to her appointment to the bench, she was in private practice engaged primarily in general civil litigation matters.  Judge Parrish is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.  In February 2003, Judge Parrish was sworn in as a Special Judge for Oklahoma County and in October 2004 as a District Judge.

     Judge Parrish is a member of the Oklahoma and Oklahoma County Bar Associations, as well as the Oklahoma Trial Judges Association.  Judge Parrish is also a Master with the William J. Holloway, Jr., American Inn of Court.
