Oklahoma County District One Employee’s Receive Recognition Employee’s recognized for Roads Scholar Training and Equipment Operating Skills at Association of County Commissioners Fall Meeting

Oklahoma County – District One Commissioner Willa Johnson announced today that several District One employees had been recognized at the Association of County Commissioner’s of Oklahoma (ACCO) fall meeting held this week in Oklahoma City.

Six employees received a Certificate of Completion for achieving certification in the County Roads Scholar Program offered through the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) at Oklahoma State University. The employees are: Eric Clayton, Truck Driver; Wallace Henderson, Laborer; Calixto Deligero, Engineer; Billy Lewis, Equipment Operator; Mark Mayfield, Parts & Inventory Clerk; and Anthony Spigener, Truck Driver.

In addition to the Roads Scholar recipients, three District One employees were honored for their equipment operating skills at the recently held ACCO Roadeo. The equipment Roadeo is a skills competition for county employees from across the state. District One Winners are: Guy Johnson – 1st place for Skid Steer Loader, Criss Franklin- 2nd place Back Hoe Loader and Marcus Reeves – 3rd place in Skid Steer Loader.
