THE OKLAHOMA HISTORY CENTER

In a breathtakingly beautiful setting, the all new Oklahoma History Center opened to the public in the fall of 2005 after several years in the planning. Situated on an 18 acre site at the northeast corner of 23rd and Lincoln Boulevard across from the State Capitol, it tells the story of Oklahoma and Oklahomans in a unique way that grabs and holds the viewer’s interest.

In addition to the extensive collections, historical exhibits and displays, it also houses a well-stocked gift shop with a wide variety of items from which to choose and the Winnie Mae café for refreshment and relaxation between viewings.
