The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics

The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM), established in 1983 by action of the Oklahoma State Legislature, is located at 1141 North Lincoln Boulevard.

The school is situated on a 32 acre campus south of the State Capitol and adjacent to the libraries and research facilities of the Oklahoma Health Center.

The OSSM is described as a two year residential public high school for academically gifted students in mathematics and science. Students must successfully complete 16 units at OSSM and participation in community and campus service with satisfactory reports is mandatory. Admission is through a highly competitive process and written application. Only 70 to 80 students are accepted annually from approximately 300 applicants statewide.

The OSSM has a current enrollment of 104 students with 26 full time faculty members and 11 adjunct members.
