Position: Survivor Skills Volunteer Instructor Location: Oklahoma County Juvenile Bureau 5905 N. Classen Ct., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118 Hours: 15 hours or less a year all evenings (M-Th 6pm to 7:30pm) GENERAL PURPOSE: Provides instruction to young women ages 14 to 18 in a classroom setting. Teaching on the subject matter in which you have area of expertise or study. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must have considerable knowledge of available community and youth serving resources to provide to class. Skill in securing and maintaining the confidence and cooperation of young female clients. REQUIREMENTS: Be at least 21 years of age. Demonstrate an interest and concern for the needs of others. Complete an application form and interview.
