K-9 Unit
The K-9 Unit, comprised of 6 handlers and 7 German Shepherds, the unit is supervised by Sergeant Jim Daves. K-9 is a support unit providing canines and handlers trained in apprehending criminal offenders through non-lethal means. The unit has certified narcotics and explosive detection canines. The unit participated in drug awareness education through public relations programs, demonstrations and provides assistance to other agencies in Oklahoma County. |
