Law Enforcement Explorers The Sheriffs Explorer Program was implemented in 1997 to provide a positive outlet for young men and women interested in a law enforcement career. This program provides an opportunity to experience law enforcement from a hands-on approach and afford our deputies a chance to interact with young men and women in our community. More than 30 explorers participate in all aspects of operations within the Sheriffs Office. Advisor, Rex O'brien and Sheriff's Explorers are scraping and painting a senior citizen's home. The paint was donated by the city of Midwest City. To learn more about our Explorer program or to join, contact: Deputy Lamont Bolhuis or Officer Scott Gibbons at (405) 713-1033 or come by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office and pick up an Explorer packet.
