Patrol Division

The past 4 years has seen dramatic change in the patrol division supervised by Captain Mike Quick. The patrol division has grown into the agency’s largest field division, up from 16 to 52 personnel to cover the 720 square miles of Oklahoma County. The patrol mission is to provide quality law enforcement services to the citizens of Oklahoma County, provide help to other law enforcement agencies, and assist the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. The entire coverage structure of the Patrol Division was changed to a quadrant format and to better utilize personnel and increase coverage, 5 shifts replaces the standard 3-shift coverage. Unsafe and undependable patrol units have been replaced with new vehicles and a bike patrol program was implemented in neighborhoods.

Captain Mike Quick works on one of the new Mobile Data Computers. We just recently purchased 70 new MDC's to outfit our fleet.
