Protective Services Division
We are currently preparing to enhance the overall security at the Oklahoma County Courthouse. We will be installing cameras and other technology to ensure the safety of all who work and conduct business at the courthouse.

The Protective Services Division is comprised of 27 deputies and
supervised by Captain Bennie Owens and Lieutenant Don Muse. Protective Services provides security for the
courthouse complex ant the Juvenile Justice Center and provides escorts for the
Treasurer’s Office. In 1997, 3 sections that provided these services were combined to
allow for increased operational efficiency.
