FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK (November 5, 2025) - Oklahoma County District 3 has allocated $50,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to support the development of the Uncommon Ground Sculpture Park in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The Uncommon Ground Sculpture Park is an innovative cultural project designed to celebrate art, community, and the natural beauty of Edmond. Once complete, the park will feature large- scale sculptures, walking trails, and gathering spaces that promote creativity, reflection, and connection among residents and visitors alike.

"Public art enriches our communities and creates shared spaces where people can connect, reflect, and be inspired," said Commissioner Myles Davidson. "We're proud to support a project that will bring long-term cultural, educational, and economic benefits to Oklahoma County."

The ARPA funding from Oklahoma County District 3 will help advance the park's construction and installation efforts, supporting its mission to make art accessible to all and enhance quality of life in the region.

This investment aligns with District 3's commitment to fostering community development, supporting tourism, and promoting initiatives that strengthen the county's cultural and economic vitality. For more information about the Uncommon Ground Sculpture Park, visit https://www.uncommonground.org.
