The jury returned a guilty verdict on all counts yesterday and recommended a sentence of 10 years for Count #1, 30 years for Count #2, 5 years for Count #3, life for Count #4 and another life sentence for County #5. Formal sentencing by the Court will take place on May 13, 2024.

The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office has dismissed the First Degree Murder charge against 15-year-old Davyion Hamilton. Hamilton was arrested and charged for the shooting death of 17-year-old Cordae Carter at the Choctaw versus Del City High School Football game on August 25, 2023.
