The Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Oklahoma County Office Building, 320 Robert S Kerr Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, Room 204. Key Items for Discussion/Approval:

Financial Approvals and Reports:

  • Approval of claims, purchase card payments, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • Review of financial reports from various departments for October 2024.

Community Recognitions and Proclamations:

  • Recognition of November 2024 BOCC Employee of the Month, Scott March.
  • Discussion of bids for Burial and Cremation Program Administration and Online Surplus Auction Services.

Property & Equipment Management:

  • Transfer of equipment from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office to Harper and Murray County Sheriffs'.
  • Approval of surplus resolutions for various vehicles and equipment.

ARPA funded projects:

  • Closeout of completed ARPA projects, including the Social Services Homeless Navigator and JJC Homeless Services Trailer.
  • Allocation of funds for new projects in healthcare and community assistance.

Departmental Items & Approvals:

  • Agreement with Purple Wave Auction Services for a one-time auction by District 1.
  • Scheduling of the 2025 regular BOCC monthly meetings.

Executive Session:

  • Confidential discussions on pending litigation, property matters, and personnel appointments.
