The Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Oklahoma County Office Building, 320 Robert S Kerr Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, Room 204. Key Items for Discussion/Approval:

Financial Approvals and Reports:

  • Review and approval of claims and blanket purchase orders.
  • Discussion on employee benefits and medical claims.
  • Monthly fee reports from various departments, including the Juvenile Bureau and Planning Commission.

Community Recognitions and Proclamations:

  • Designation of October 9 as Daily Living Centers Day in Oklahoma County.
  • Proclamation recognizing October 2024 as Oklahoma County 4-H Month.

Project and Agreement Approvals:

  • Consideration of an agreement to assist Oakdale Public Schools with a parking lot project.
  • Various ARPA-funded agreements for community programs, including support for youth services, housing initiatives, and community organization projects.

Zoning and Property Management:

  • Discussion on a zoning amendment to facilitate a residential subdivision development on 96.51 acres.
  • Disposal of obsolete county equipment through resolutions and sales.

Executive Session

  • Confidential discussions regarding a pending case, Board of County Commissioners v. The City of Oklahoma City, Case No. CV-2024-1659.
