FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“It was a great honor for me to be chosen by the Commercial Real Estate Summit as a 2025 Pivot Award winner. The Pivot Awards are given to those true visionaries in the Real Estate industry. Many thanks to the CRE Summit, University of Central Oklahoma and Dr. David Chapman. Everything at the Oklahoma County Assessor’s Office happens because of a great team working together every day to accomplish the task required.  I want to congratulate a staff that always takes care of business and earns accolades all the time from the public we serve,” said Oklahoma County Assessor Larry Stein.

“On October 1, the 2025 Commercial Real Estate Summit, hosted by the UCO Real Estate Program, presented PIVOT Awards  to real estate professionals who have made the most pivotal advances in our industry. This year, I received the PIVOT award for a public official.  I’m proud to earn this award and brag on the amazing office staff that makes it all happen,” Stein said.

Dr. David Chapman explains, “The process starts with you – the public. We take nominations from organizations such as the Commercial Real Estate Council (CREC), Commercial Real Estate Woman (CREW), Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors (GTAR), Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors (OKCMAR), Edmond Board of Realtors, Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Oklahoma Home Builders Association, Urban Land Institute (ULI), and others. After receiving nominations, the Commercial Real Estate Summit Foundation Board of Directors deliberate and discuss the candidates and select the winners.

The Commercial Real Estate Summit is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to connect CRE professionals and affiliated industries to educational topics and networking opportunities. The CRE Summit Foundation provides scholarships to students of real estate at the University of Central Oklahoma.”

The CRE Summit serves as a hub for industry professionals, providing opportunities for networking and discussions on the latest trends and challenges. It also supports education by offering scholarships through the CRE Summit Foundation for students in real estate programs.
